Following their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Nyokoyorr FC a fortnight ago, Kulukochi United have returned to their winning form by beating United Brother 3-0 in the ongoing Gunjur Nawetan at the Nyamina Football Field on Saturday.
Kulukochi United opened the score through winger Ebrima Jankosolo Jobe, alias Rui Costa, in the 30th minute of the game after slashing through United FC’s defence line to give his side the lead.
Striker Omar Bojang, alias Bajaw, netted the second and third goals in the 75th and dying minutes of the game to complete his brace.
United FC fought hard for an equalizer but could not break through Kulukochi United’s formidable defence line and thus the game ended 3-0 in favour of Kulukochi United.
Kulukochi United have now topped group B with 10 points in five games, while United Brothers are automatically out of the competition after collecting 5 points in five games.
