Kombo
East United Monday lost to Black Mountain in the 2016-2017 West Coast Regional
third division league qualifiers.
The Kombo East outfit lost to Black Mountain
on penalties, after regulation time failed to produce a winner at the Brikama
Box Mini Stadium.
The
victory has given Black Mountain a place in the second round of the 2016-2017
West Coast Regional third tier qualifiers, after eliminating Kombo East United
in the first round of the qualifiers, and will contend to win their next
qualifier matches to fancy their hopes of qualifying for the league proper.
Kombo
East United needs to confirm their fate after the end of the first round of the
qualifiers, after losing to Black Mountain in the first round of the
qualifiers.
Black
Mountain now joins Tujereng United, who eliminated Madiana United on penalties
in the first round, after their 2-2 draw in regulation time played at the
Brufut Football Field at the weekend.
