The Saamasang sponsored Kombo Central District football tournament meant to promote and develop grassroots football in Kombo Central and its environs has continued to produce interesting and spectacular encounters.
Kitty maintained their unbeaten run in group D after thrashing Busuranding 3-1 at the Kitty playground on Saturday.
Kitty are currently leading group D with 4 points in two games, while Busuranding lie at the bottom of the group with a single point in two outings.
On the same day Jalabang defeated Kassa Kunda 1-0 in group D at the Marakissa playground. Jalabang are placed second spot in group D with 4 points out of two games with a two-goal difference behind the current group leaders Kitty.
Kassa Kunda are meanwhile rooted at the bottom of group D with 1 point in two games, three points behind the leaders Kitty and Jalabang.
The tournament is being organised and coordinated by the Kombo Central District Sports Committee.
