Kinteh's United's hope of recovering from their embarrassing performance in last year's GFA National Women Division One League Championship has suffered a massive setback as they conceded the heaviest defeat against Interior, who entertained them to a humiliating 8-nil defeat at Real De Banjul field on Saturday.

She was however quick to admit that they needed to improve on their performance in a bid to avoid relegation to the Second Division.
Kinteh's United it could be recalled had a poor performance in last year's women league, but managed to escape relegation following some improvement in the latter stage of the championship, which saw Makasutu demoted to the second tier women football at the expense of Bakau girls.
