Kembujeh resident arraigned for assault

A Kembujeh resident, Ismaila Sanneh was recently arraigned before Principal Magistrate Effim of the Brikama Magistrates' Court charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.

According to the particulars of offence, on 13th June, 2010, at Kenbujeh Village the accused, Ismaila Sanneh willfully and unlawfully assaulted, one Fanding Sanneh by giving him a blow on his mouth.

Meanwhile, the accused, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, was granted a court bail in the sum of D10, 000 with a Gambian surety.

The case was adjourned to 12th July 2010 for hearing
