Karmic
Angel, a United Kingdom-based charitable organization, on Friday 18 November
2016, donated football materials to Farato Sports Committee, as part of their
contribution towards the development of sport in the village, especially
football.
The
donated materials included two sets of jerseys, four foot balls, 60 medals and
one trophy.
Presenting
the donated materials to Farato Sports Committee at a ceremony held at the
Farato Health Centre, Alan Turner, founder of Karmic Angel, said two balls are
for the sports committee and the remaining two balls are for the finalists of
the fitness football tournament.
Mr
Turner revealed that sixty medals gold and silver are also for the finalists,
adding that they “are glad to support Farato Sports Committee”.
Director
of Karmic Angel Bakary Touray, in his remarks, assured Farato Sports Committee
that their doors are open for supporting, saying they are willing to promote
and support sport in Farato.
Stephanie
Turner, a member of Karmic Angel, said the organisation was registered as an
NGO in 2007 to support and promote health, education, agriculture and sport
among other aspects of human needs.
For
his part, Farato Sports Committee president Karamo Njie applauded Karmic Angel
for the timely gesture, saying it would aid them in their fitness football
tournament meant to scout players for the upcoming Kombo South district
football tournament.
