The game, characterized by excellent exhibition of skills and panache, attracted multitude of spectators from Gunjur and its environs including the late Pa Jobe Jassey family members Abou Jassey and Assan Jassey as well as well-wishers.
It was Kanilai FC who carried the victory after netting an extraordinary goal to snatch a slender win over the young giant killers to grab the maximum points.
The victory has earned Kanilai FC top spot in their group with 3 points in a single game, while Young Steve FC are currently languishing at the bottom of their group with zero point in one outing.
The tournament is organised by Yaya Sowe in the memory of the late Pa Jobe Jassey, a former player for Solifo Investment FC, who demised in 2003, to groom, nurture, and promote raw talents in Gunjur.
