A Kafuta man, Lamin Manneh, was lately sentenced to pay a fine of D2000 after being found guilty of two-count charges of felony and stealing.
Manneh recently admitted culpability for stealing a bed, chair, benches, amongst other items. The furniture, worth D8000, was the property of Kafuta
Before the sentence was delivered, Manneh made a passionate plea to the court to show him grace and forgive him as he had no further plans of engaging on such an unholy expedition.
Besides the D2000 court fine on all the two counts, Manneh was also bound by peace for six months. Magistrate John Njie, who chaired the case, warned him to behave seemly and with propriety and decency. He vowed that he would send Manneh to jail if he finds his way to his court for being in conflict with the country's laws
