When this case was called the prosecutor applied for an adjournment on the grounds that the witness he intended to call was bereaved and could not come to court. The defence counsel, LS Camara, told the court that he was not objecting to the application, but he did not know the proximity between the alleged deceased and the witness. The prosecutor stood up again and told the court that the father of the witness was the one who had passed away. The case at that juncture was adjourned till 24 April 2014.
