Speaking to the press shortly after finalizing the contract, the founder and CEO of Joluv Arts Entertainment, Saul Sowe, said the contract is entitled to many benefits for the artiste.Mr Sowe reaffirmed Joluv Arts’s tireless commitment to helping promote the arts and culture industry of The Gambia by producing quality music, among others.He called on Gambians to keep supporting their artistes and look out for their signed artists as they get set to storm the international scene in the long run.
For his part, Bai Babu, who is also known as Brain Cracker, said he is very happy to have come to an agreement with Joluv Arts.
He said Joluv Arts will now be managing him professionally, adding that this is what every artiste needs; to be signed by a label for them to protect you as an artist.He said the contract has a lot and therefore called on his fans to look out for more developments from him as an artist.
Bai Babu added that the deal has taken him to another level as he has moved from being an ordinary artiste to a more professional one.
The ‘dama yii’ initiator noted that the contract has given him a bigger task, as expectations are high on him after signing the deal.
“They have trust in me; that is why they signed me,” he noted.
Bai Babu asserted that Joluv Arts is the biggest music label in The Gambia and has helped and empowered a lot of musicians.
While giving a rundown of some of the achievements of Joluv Arts, Brain Cracker thanked music label for their continuous support to Gambian artistes.
