President Yahya Jammeh has appointed Jatto Sillah to serve as Deputy Minister of Forestry under the Office of the President with effect from 22 February 2016, a press release from the Office of the President has stated.
Mr Jatto Sillah, who was the then Director of Forestry, was first appointed as minister for Forestry on 27 October 2009. He was also one-time Gambia’s Ambassador to Guinea Bissau.
