The initial deadlock in the Banjul Sports Committee Nawetan League final played on Friday at the Banjul Mini-Stadium was neutralised by Jamesen in beating Plumbi United 7-6 on post-match penalty shootout after regulation time.
Crowned champions, Jamesen went home with a cash prize of D35,000 and a Shield, while Pumbi United received a consolation prize of D20,000 as runners-up.

The match, played on Saturday at the East Mini-Stadium, produced nothing in the Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) Nawetan League Final during regulation time.
As champions, Milan Rossoneri went home with a cash prize of D30,000 and a trophy, while Medina FC received a consolation prize of D20,000 as runners-up.
After leading his team to victory, the happy Jamesen head coach, Omar Touray, thanked God who made the victory possible for them, saying that winning the trophy was the beginning for him as a young coach.
He told reporters that he gave due respect to his opponents, Plumbi United but said he had a better side than them, adding that he should have emerged victorious even during regulation time.
Sang L. Mendy, head coach of Milan Rossoneri, also began by thanking God, his technical team, players and fans of the team.
He said he had told his players to avoid conceding if they are not able to score during the game because they know if it comes to penalty shootout they would win.
He said they prepared well for the final, adding that the games they played prior to the final were even more difficult.
