Jambanjelly United have suffered yet another setback in the 2014 Gambia
Football Federation, GFF, third division triangular qualifiers following their
1-0 defeat to Immigration at the Father Gough Sports Complex in ManjaiKunda on
Friday.
Jambanjelly United came into the game with zero points after losing to Blue Star 2-0 in their opening game, but were unable to snatch the maximum three points to improve their hopes of gaining promotion to the second division.
Immigration came with 6 points after beating Sait Matty and Marimoo in their previous fixtures, and managed to grab a slender win over Jambanjelly United to maintain their hundred percent record in the qualifiers.
The victory has earned Immigration a maximum 9 points in three games, whileJambanjelly United are still languishing at the bottom with zero points in two games, and they need to beat Marimoo and Sait Matty to keep their hopes of gaining promotion to the second tier.
