Jallow-Jatta Brondby clinch third in Denmark

The Sunday historic 2-0 win over SonderjyskE by Brondby of Gambia duo Ousman Jallow and Paul Jatta has given the Danish Superliga side a model finish of last season on 3rd in Denmark.

Substitute Jallow, who completed his 21 league appearances for Brondby without celebrating a single goal this season, played just for 14 minutes into what is surely a guaranteed Europa League ticket for them next season.

The 51-point answer was all Brondby needed to overcome stiff competitors Midtjylland, who settled for 4th on the table.

Paul Jatta, who did not feature in Sunday’s end-game, made 13 appearances for the side.

Tijan Jaiteh’s Randers failed to escape relegation after a 2-2 draw against Esbjerg.

The side has now been relegated to the second highest league in Denmark with just 40 points and second from bottom.
