Gambian journalist Tombong Mamadi Jadama is in Holland, Amsterdam, attending a two-day IOC organised World Conference on sport, culture and education.
The conference commenced on Sunday at the NH Grant Krasnapolsky Hotel in the heart of the city of Amsterdam, a major tourist centre.
Jadama’s trip was sponsored by the GNOC and assisted by Sports VIEW Manager, the Gambia Sports Journalist Association and the Gambia Press Union.
Speaking from his hotel in Amsterdam, Jadama said it was a big opportunity for him to attend his kind of conference outside The Gambia.
This, he noted, has enabled him to meet a lot of experts in sport with whom he is sharing ideas to enrich his experience in sports journalism especially.
Tombong Jadama, who is also the manager and publisher of Kickoffgambia online newspaper, said that since his arrival in Amsterdam he has been interacting with a lot of participants, especially Europeans, who have vast knowledge in world sport.
