International Business College Reaches Agreement

InternationalBusinessCollege which was dragged to court on the 27th March 2009, by Ousman Gomez, has written an agreement letter to either refund the plaintiff D11, 100 or give him his External Certificate (BTEC). Both parties signed the agreement letter. This case was first mentioned before senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court and the representative of the defendant denied liability.

The plaintiff, Ousman Gomez, claimed for the recovery of the sum of D11, 100 from the defendant being money paid to the defendant for external certificate (BTEC) and which the defendant failed to give to the plaintiff.

According to the plaintiff, he pursued a course in Travel and Tourism Management since 2004 and up till now he could not have his certificate from the defendant. He further claimed it is five years now despite several demands by him but to no avail.

The defendant has now agreed to give the plaintive External Certificate or refund him the sum of D11, 100 on the 30th April 2009.
