International Business College Dragged to Court

InternationalBusinessCollege was recently dragged to Kanifing Magistrates' court by the plaintiff Ousman Gomez, a former student of the college.

The case was presided over by Senior Magistrate, Abdoulie Mbake.

According to the particulars of claim the plaintiff was claiming for the recovery of the sum of D11,100 from the Defendant being the money paid to the defendant for external certificate (BTEC) and which the defendant failed to give to the plaintiff to pursue a course in travel and tourism management. It was further claimed that since 2004 and until now, the plaintiff could not have his certificate from the defendant. It is now 5 years despite several demands by the Plaintiff and all to no avail. The representative of the college denied the liability.

The case was adjourned to 23rd April 2009.
