Inge Buniardi a young Indonesian musician is currently in the country to promote his music, as well as to meet with  movers and shakers of the Gambian music industry.

Inge Buniardi a pianist played popular works by Debussy, Mozart, Scriabin, Beethoven and Schumann at the Ngala Lodge, where the audience took lunch as they listened to the popular pianist.

Speaking to Entertainment last Sunday at a concert she performed at Fajara Ngala Lodge, Inge Buniardi said her main purpose of visiting the Gambia is to promote her music, and meet those involved in the Gambian music industry.

She further told Entertainment that her aim is to become a world esteemed pianist, adding that this was her first time to visit The Gambia.

"I performed almost four concerts in all at the Ngala Lodge, which has been appreciated by the select audiences that heard me.

"In terms of acoustics, the Ngala Lodge's beautiful restaurant overlooking the Atlantic (Ocean) is no match for a concert-hall in Amsterdam, London or Berlin. It is open-sided, and its tented ceiling absorbs and dulls sound," she explained.
