Nyima Barrow, a Nurse at the Nemakunku Health Centre recently testified at the Bundung Magistrates'Court in the trial of one Bakary Keita who was alleged of defilement of an under age girl.
Adducing evidence, Nyima Barrow told the court that on 6th March 2008 she was on her way to the health centre together with Rohey Nyang and Fatou Jeng, when Rohey Nyang told her that there was somebody at the premises of the health centre, adding that as she got back she saw the accused and a young girl emerging from a corner. She addedthat as she approach the accused he pick the girl and ran into a dark area.
Further testifying, PW3 revealed that she asked the girl why was she there and the girl responded that she was brought there by the accused. She said she took the girl to their home and later she was called by the Wellingara Police to go and make a statement.
