Principal Magistrate Hilary Abeke of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court Monday convicted and sentenced one Ebrima Boye to a fine of D3,000, in default to serve six months in prison.
He admitted to the office of impersonating as a public officer and also admitted the facts of the case as narrated before the court as the truth.
Ebrima Boye begged the court to temper justice with mercy on him, saying he was a first-time offender.
He said he was married and a breadwinner of his family.
