The
GDC leader Mamma Kandeh, who has been touring CRR and URR, said at his Gambisara meeting that if elected
he would lower taxes on all businesses, as well as reopen all embassies closed
in the country.
“I
will foster fruitful relations with the Gambians in the diaspora”.
The
GDC flag-bearer expressed the same view throughout, and urged all Gambians to
rally behind the GDC for a brighter Gambia.
The
GDC leader also used the opportunity to condemn tribal politics, while
promising to transform Bansang into a city with good road infrastructure and
more development.
He
said politics is meant to promote democracy. He thanked the populace for the
warm welcome, and asked them to maintain peace and stability during the
campaign and on Election Day.
“I
want to thank the people of Gambisara for paving the way in my political
career,” Mamma Kandeh said.
