“Nomination of candidates will be held on Thursday 3rd September 2015 at the IEC Regional Office in Brikama from 8am to 4pm,” the release stated, adding: “Prospective candidates should contact the Regional office in Brikama on 3958385 or 3534207 in order to arrange the schedule of receipt of their nomination papers.”
In another vein, the release disclosed, “the Commission will also conduct nomination for the vacant seat of Half Die Ward in Banjul on Thursday 17th September 2015”.
Therefore, it further notes, “nomination forms will be issued out” to prospective candidates from Monday 31 August to Thursday 17 September 2015.
“These forms can be collected from Election House at Bertil Harding Highway or IEC Banjul Regional office,” the release, signed by IEC Chairman Alhaji Mustapha L. Carayol, stated.
