IEC Boss to Observe South Africa Elections

The Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) Mr Mustapha L. Carayol will today leave for South Africa to observe the presidential and legislative elections in that country.

According to a press release issued by the IEC, Mr Carayol will be among the distinguished electoral experts who have been invited by the chairperson of the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa to observe the elections slated for 22nd April 2009.

Mr Carayol is expected back on 28th April 2009.
