Rose Jassey, a student of Dasilami Upper Basic School in Kombo Central, is in dire need of help to continue her education.
Rose, who produced an impressive result in the 2010 Gambia Basic School Leaving Certificate Examination, wants to further her education at the Senior Secondary School level and beyond.
However, Rose's family lacks the wherewithal to meet the cost of their daughter’s further education, a situation in which if there is no helping hand the bright young girl may end up losing her academic aspiration and become whatever might be anybody's guess.
Rose's parents would therefore like someone, the government or a private sector entity to come to their aid.
"I am appealing to the government, philanthropists, NGOs and any other person to assist me so that I can continue with my education," Rose said.
Anyone who would like to assist Rose can contact her family on 00220 7282785.
