Heavy defeat for Sohna's Sandefjord

Ebrima Sohna's Sandefjord were beaten 5-0 by Odd Grenland on Sunday to sink further in the Norwegian top-flight league. 

The Eliteserien side that is sure of heading for relegation after winless matches are still hanging on 8 points.

Vålerenga of Gambian duo Kristian Brix and Dawda Leigh beat Brann of Tijan Jaiteh 1-0 on Sunday to close on leaders Rosenborg.

Standing on 52 points and 5 behind leaders Rosenborg, Valerenga seem the strongest title contenders this year.

Rosenborg dropped two important points in Sunday's clash against Muhammed Keita's Strømsgodset, which ended 1-1 in Norway.

Gambia international Amadou Jawo led his side to a 2-2 draw against Brommapojkarna. The draw sent Elfsborg back on 4th place with 40 points in week 25 matches in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

In Denmark, Ousman Jallow’s and Paul Jatta's Brøndby suffered a 2-0 home loss to Silkeborg on Sunday. Still on 3rd position and 15th points, Brondby are faced with what looks like a difficult fixture in their week 11 match against Horsens.
