Health Minister Fatim Badjie removed

President Yahya Jammeh has made yet another change in the cabinet, news monitored on state media GRTS has revealed.

The latest executive exercise saw Ms Fatim Badjie, who was appointed as minister of Health and Social Welfare in February 2011, being removed from her cabinet post effective Wednesday 28th November 2012.

Prior to her appointment as health minister, Fatim Badjie first served as minister of Information and Communications Infrastructure, a post she was removed from on 5th February 2009.

Currently, she is the Managing Director of Ace Communication Executive, an outsource destination for corporate communication work that specialises in public relations, training, media consulting, corporate branding through concrete media content analysis and guide communication strategies.

Ms. Fatim Badjie, 28, was Gambia’s youngest cabinet minister.
