Gunjur Upper and Senior Secondary School’s yearly biggest sporting event better known as inter-house is fixed for tomorrow, Saturday 30 January 2016, at the school’s football field in Gunjur.
Four houses, namely Foday Sillah, Kwame Nkrumah, Samory and Amilca Cabral will contending for the School’s annual sporting event.
The championship attracts hundreds of spectators from Gunjur and its surrounding for the school’s annual sporting event in the previous years.
The school used the championship to scout good athletes that will represent them in the forthcoming West Coast Regional inter-schools athletics heats as well as the National inter-schools athletics championship set for later this year.
It would be recalled that Gunjur Upper Basic School won the 2010 National inter-schools athletics championship title bankrolled by Trust Bank Gambia Limited.
