Gambia Football Federation has suspended Serrekunda United and Immigration team managers and players for their misconduct in the country’s top flight and second tier football.
Bubacarr Sawo player of Serrekunda United FC was sent off for receiving a second cautioning offence and is unqualified to play the subsequent match of his team.
Modou Njie (head coach) and Ebrima Njie (team manager) were both sent off the bench for persistently using abusive language on match official.
The incident happened during their encounter against Bombada FC played at the Brikama Mini Stadium.
Modou Njie and Ebrima Njie are suspended for four consecutive matches with immediate effect.
They are not to sit or stand behind the team bench nor are they allowed to enter the dressing room before during and after the games. Failure to comply will lead to a severe disciplinary action.
Saikouba Nyassi, a player of Immigration, was sent off for serious foul play.
The incident happened during their clash with Red Hawks played at the Banjul Mini Stadium.
Mr Nyassi is suspended with immediate effect from playing for two subsequent matches of Immigration.
