Sport Foundation (GSF); a non-profit organisation headed by a Dutch
philanthropist has recently handed over Jaresu Child Nursery School to the
community of Kotu Quarry.
Joannes
Veameulen, head of the Foundation said he has been coming to The Gambia for
over 15 years now to help football clubs in communities by providing sport
materials to them. He said sport is important because it brings people
together.
“We
came to the country to help communities in so many areas such as education,
agriculture and sport,” he said, adding that they built the Jaresu Child
Nursery School with the support of other organisations in Holland after
purchasing the land.
