The
Bakau Sports Committee has set the stage for its Super Cup final on Sunday 31
July 2016, at the mini football pitch of the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
A
release from the executive stated that the anticipated Super Cup final would be
played between the two champions of last year’s nawettan, Vidar F.C and
Lunibung FC.
In
the same vain balloting was conducted yesterday and 32 teams would compete in
this year’s tournament.
The
nawettan proper starts on 2 August 2016 and all matches will be played at the
mini pitch of the Independence Stadium.
In
reacting to the development, the President of the Sports Committee has
challenged all teams and fan clubs to maintain utmost discipline towards
achieving a successful nawettan season this year.
‘As
sports men and women, we must develop game spirit and adhere to the rules
governing football ‘fair play’,’ the sports committee president said.
