Mr. Victor Willovghby, District Grand Master Seirra Leone and Gambia Scottish Constitution Organisation has presented a cheque for D16, 050 (Sixteen Thousand and Fifty Dalasi) to the Gambia Organisation of Visually Impaired GOVI.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony held at the GOVI headquarters, Mr. Willovghby said his organisation brought "some small money for the blind students," though useful for GOVI.

He promised that come next year, they will bring more help to the students of GOVI. He urged the school administration of GOVI to make the best use of the money presented to them. He said they would always think about the blind students of GOVI, who deserve greater care not only from their teachers in the school, but from outsiders.

The Chairman of the Gambia Organisation of Visually Impaired (GOVI), Muhammed Kora, for his part, said he was overwhelmed by the Sierra Leone and Scottish Constitution Organisation, headed by Mr. Willovghby for their timely presentation to his organisation. Chairman Kora assured the donors that whatever they brought for the blind people will be properly managed.

Mr. Kora called on the donors to continue with the struggle, adding that this presentation was the forth of its kind, to be offered by Mr. Willovghby and his group.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Foday Wadda, on behalf of GOVI.

Other speakers included Musa Mbye, GOVI's spokesperson and Momodou Touray, the Executive Director of GOVI, who chaired the occasion.
