The president of The Gambia National Paralympic Committee, Sulayman Colley, is expected to leave Banjul on Sunday for Egypt to attend a seminar organised by the African Sport Confederation

However, Colley pointed out that due to constraints, he is yet to purchase his air ticket for the ten-day seminar.

"I have written to individuals for sponsorship and have still not received any response from them," he said. He appealed to anyone who might come to his aid to do so and help him to achieve his dream of attending the seminar.

He stated that the seminar is organised to aid, develop and promote disability sports in Africa. "This will prepare disabled persons for the Paralympic games in London 2012," he added.
