The Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) is staging an arts contest on sport targeting members of the general public.
The GNOC Sports Arts Contest is open to the public and registered individuals for the 2012 contest are to submit their work and other relevant requirements of the contest latest February 2012.
The winning artwork forwarded for the contest will be sent to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) where it will join the International Sport Arts Contest Competition.
The award ceremony for the winning contestants will be held on Saturday, 25 February, at the Olympic House at 4.00pm.
The contest is staged under the theme: “Sport and the Olympic Values of Excellence, Friendship and Respect”.
Ahead of the ceremony, the GNOC will also be hosting their 2012 Arts Contest exhibition from 21 to 24 February at the Olympic House in Mile 7, Bakau.
