The Gambia National Olympic Committee and the Gambia Table Tennis Association are on the verge of staging a rigorous two-week technical course for table tennis coaches and PE teachers from 14 to 26 July 2011 at the Friendship Hostel at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, a press release from the GNOC has revealed.
The full text of the release follows: The Gambia National Olympic Committee and the Gambia Table Tennis Association will be organising a two-week technical course for Table Tennis coaches and P/E Teachers from the 14th – 26th July 2011 at the Friendship Hostel, Bakau.
The International Table Tennis (ITTF) has nominated Mr Ramon Ortega Montes to conduct the course and the participants are drawn from the Table Tennis club coaches and P/E Teachers.
This will be Mr Ramon Ortega Montes’s second visit to The Gambia on a similar course. The Gambia Table Tennis Association knows his level of capabilities in terms of knowledge sharing. Mr Ramon Ortega Montes is a certified ITTF coach instructor.
The practical classes will be held at the Gambia Table Tennis Association’s Table Tennis hall at the Stadium – Bakau.
The general public and Table Tennis lovers are all invited to come and witness the practical demonstrations.
