The Scottish girls will arrive in The Gambia as guests of the GFF from the 18to 25 November 2015 and will play series of friendly games with the National Women Team and two other National Female League clubs in addition to an engagement with the Gilkock Football Academy in Brufut, the statement added.
The GFF added that the delegation would comprise thirty-one people with officials and players for the weeklong stay in The Gambia.
It said the GFF Women Football Committee and Women Football Association are key partners in this regard and would both be at hand for the successful hosting of the first-ever visit of Glasgow Girls FC to The Gambia.
Furthermore, the country partners Gilkock Football Academy will also join in the campaign as key stakeholders to the Scottish visit.
In light of this landmark development in Gambian football, the GFF further invites all Media houses to a press briefing on Monday 2 November 2015 at the GFF Secretariat in Kanifing at 1:00pm to shed more light on the event.
