Following
the appointments of coaches for the Regional Football Associations, the GFF
will conduct an orientation workshop for the Eight Regional Coaches from
Thursday 9 to Saturday 11 February at the Friendship Hostel.
The
workshop, according to GFF Technical Director Ebrima Manneh, is in pursuance of
effective football decentralization earmarked by the GFF Executive.
The
workshop is further meant to orient the coaches on their roles and
responsibilities in their various regions in addition to developing mid- and
long-term strategic development goals for the regions they serve.
The
coaches would use the three-day programme as an opportunity to also create a
platform where they can interface to ease up their work with the general
secretariat.
