As part of the opening fixtures, Lamin United will begin their 2014-2015 second division league campaign against Seaview on today, at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.
Young Africans will host Tallinding United at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium. Both sides will be vying for a win to boost their hopes of gaining promotion to the top flight next season.
Blue Star will rub shoulders with Steve Biko at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium. The Bakau giant killers were demoted to the second tier after a dismal performance in the top flight last season, and regained promotion to the second tier following their stunning performance in the third division triangular qualifiers.
Serrekunda East Bi will clash with newly-promoted side Immigration at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Elsewhere, KGI will play against Samger at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda, on the same day.
The academy boys were relegated to the second division after their woeful performance in the top flight last season, and are hoping to win their games in order to boost their hopes of returning to the first division next season.
