Reigning
league champions Brikama United have missed the chance to level points with
Hawks, Gamtel, Wallidan and Waa Banjul in the 2019-2020 Gambia Football
Federation (GFF) division one league.
The
Sateyba boys were held to a 2-2 draw by Tallinding United in their opening
match of the league, played at the Box Bar Mini Stadium on Sunday.
The
quartet won their opening league games after beating Gambia Ports Authority,
Banjul United, Marimoo and BK Milan respectively.
Brikama
United need to win their next league fixture and hope Hawks, Gamtel, Wallidan
and Waa Banjul slip to top the league to also maintain their hopes of retaining
their 2018-2019 league crown.
Meanwhile,
Real De Banjul came from one nil down to draw 1-1 with Gambia Armed Forces at
the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Sunday.
