Brikama United have maintained astonishing run of form in the 2013-2014 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division one league following their slender 1-0 win over Bakau United in the week-four fixtures played at the Brikama Box BarMini Stadium on Saturday.
Hawks have also maintained their spectacular performance in the league after beating reigning league champions Steve Biko on the same score-line at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Elsewhere, Samger snatched their first win in the league following their narrow 1-0 victory over Armed Forces in the other week-four fixtures played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day.
Brikama United and Hawks are leading the league table with 9 points each in four games, Bakau United and Armed Forces with 4 points each in four games, Samger are with 3 points in four games after beating Armed Forces/ the reigning league champions are with only 2 points in four outings.
Steve Biko, Samger, Armed Forces and Bakau United need to win their next game to keep their title ambition alive after a woeful start to the 2013-2014 GFF Division one league campaign.
