Following the Scorpions’ 1-0 defeat to the Brave Warriors of Namibia in the 2012 African Nations Cup Qualifiers on Saturday 3 September 2011 in Windhoek, Namibia, the Gambia Football Association (GFA) will hold a press conference on Monday 12 September 2011 at the Gambia Football Association Secretariat in Kanifing at 1pm.
The press conference will avail the Scorpions’ delegation and head coach Paul the opportunity to explain the problems that bedeviled their performance in Namibia leading to The Gambia`s hopes of qualifying for the African Nations Cup 2012 being shattered.
The GFA is calling on all major stakeholders in football development and media houses to attend the press conference.
In a similar development, the GFA, in collation with FIFA, will organize a weeklong training course for Physical Education teachers at the GFA National Training Centre and FIFA Goal Project Complex in Yundum from 12 to 18 September 2011.
