There has been some interesting league matches in the Week Four fixtures of the national league championship which has witnessed some exciting and fascinating results in the country's top flight football on Saturday.
But there were three more league matches which promises to produce some fantastic results, but could not proceed as scheduled, due to the just ended African Nation's Cup final on Sunday.
Seaview's game against promoted Interior side which was initially scheduled to take place at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda on Sunday has now been re-scheduled for Wednesday, at the same venue, while the other re-scheduled game between Steve Biko and Samger will be played on the same day, at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.
Biko's hope of maintaining a place at the top of the 12 club championship has suffered a major setback as Gamtel beat Brikama United to extend the lead with four points separating the two sides.
The return to action and form of captain Assan Jatta and strike-partner Alasan Camara, both of whom missed the opening two matches, due to an international assignments could prove a turning moments for Coach Abdoulie Bojang and his young side who are hunting for their first national league title in decades.
Meanwhile, the last game in Week Four fixtures would be played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, featuring one of the two top teams in the Gambian football: GPA and Bakau United, who will be both looking forward to improve on their current form.
