GFA: First FIFA Beach Soccer Coaching Course in the offing

The Gambia Football Association (GFA), in partnership with Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), will stage a one-week Beach Soccer Coaching Course beginning on Monday 23 May at the Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi.

Brazil’s Gustavo Zloccowick has been appointed by FIFA as the instructor for the five-day course, which will wrap up on Friday 27 May 2011.

A record number of 27 participants drawn from ten sporting zones in the Greater Banjul Area, Beach Soccer Committee and coaches from all regions will attend the first FIFA Beach Soccer Coaching Course in The Gambia, according to Abdou Salaam Jammeh of the GFA.

GFA secretary general Jammeh E.K. Bojang is expected to deliver a statement on the occasion.
