The Gambia Football Association (GFA) has set aside July 15 as the deadline for registration of academies that are yet to register with the football association, a press release from the FA has revealed.
The move is in line with the GFA’s efforts at restructuring grassroots development in The Gambia.
The full text of the press release sent to Pointsport at the weekend reads:
In order to streamline grassroots football development, the Gambia Football Association wishes to announce that all interested persons running football academies in The Gambia that have not registered with the Gambia Football Association should do so not later than 15 July 2011.
Applications for registration must be addressed to the Secretary General, the Gambia Football Association, GFA Football House, Kanifing.
