Tallinding United maintain their hundred percent record in the 2010-11 Gambia Football Association (GFA) second division league championship thanks to their 3-nil thumping of Serrekunda East in the week two fixtures played at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium on Wednesday.
Tallinding United opened the scoring through Buba Jaiteh in the 6th minute of the game from a penalty spot, before Assan Jandi and Omar Jobe netted Tallinding United’s second and third goal in the 59th and 63rd minute of the game respectively.
Elsewhere, Lamin United FC have suffered yet another setback when beaten 3-1 by Latrikunda United in the other week two fixtures at the Brikama Box bar Mini-stadium the same day.
Serrekunda United also maintain their hundred percent record in the second division championship following their hard-fought 1-0 win over Banjul United at the Banjul Mini-stadium.
Tallinding are now leading the league table with maximum 6 points in two games while Serrekunda East sit 5th position on the league standings with 3 points in two outings.
Lamin FC are rooted at the bottom of the league standings with zero point in two games while Latrikunda outfit occupied 3rd place on the league standings with 3 points in two games.
Serrekunda United are 2nd position on the league with maximum 6 points in two games while Banjul United are second from bottom with only 1 point in two games.
