The 2014-2015 domestic division one league champions Gamtel and 2014-2015 FA Cup champions Wallidan are bracing up for the 2015-2016 domestic division one league season’s traditional curtain raiser better known as Super Cup final, fixed for this weekend at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

The telecommunication giants clinched their first-ever domestic division one league title in the 2014-2015 season after an astonishing performance in the league title campaign.

Wallidan won the 2014-2015 FA Cup title after thumping Gamtel 2-0 in the final game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to end their eight-year trophy drought since 2008 when they won double before they were demoted to the second tier in 2011-2012, season after their dismal performance in the premier league.

The telecommunication giants will be steering for revenge against Wallidan in the Super Cup final to clinch the domestic division league season’s traditional curtain raiser after losing to the blue boys 2-0 in the FA Cup final last season.

The blue boys, on the other hand, will be firm and pushing for a win against telecommunication giants to claim the Super Cup title after losing to Samger in the FA Cup in 2008 at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

The Super Cup marked the curtain raiser of the country’s 2015-2016 domestic division one league season set to commence on 28 November 2015.
