Four times FA Cup champions Gamtel will battle it out with Gunjur zonal team in a friendly game schedule for Today, Friday 8 November 2013, at the Gunjur Nyamina football Field.
The test game is part of both sides preparations for their respective competition, Gamtel are preparing for the 2013/2014 GFF premier league and 2014 CAF Confederation cup competition.
Gamtel, who were eliminated in the early stage of the continent second tier football club competition for two consecutive seasons in 2012 and 2013 by As Real De Bamako of Mali and Tunisian side CS Faxien.
Gunjur zonal team, on the other hand, are warming up for the 2013 Skye Bank Gambia Limited-sponsored super nawettan zonal football competition set to kick off in December 2013.
Gunjur zonal team will also use the test game to raise funds for the team’s participation in the upcoming Skye Bank Gambia Limited-sponsored Super Nawettan zonal football competition.
It would be recalled it that Gunjur zonal team were held to a goalless draw by the 2010-2011 GFF division one league champions Brikama United in a tricky friendly encounter played at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field at the weekend.
