The Point has learnt through competent sources that Momodou Alieu Ceesay, Managing Director of Gampost has been fired from his position.
Sources close to Gampost said Ceesay got his sacking letter during the weekend after returning from a week-long official mission in Sudan.
Having served almost his entire life in the postal services of the country, Ceesay rose through the ranks at Gampost before becoming the Managing Director, a post he held for more than five years.
When contacted yesterday, Ceesay confirmed his sacking to this reporter.
