Gambian teenage sensation sign player’s agent contract

News reaching our Sports desk has it that the Gambia Armed Forces striker Buba Sama has signed a Player’s Agent contract with FIFA Licensed Agents in the persons of Dragan Hrkic of Belgium and James Hardy in Australia.

The 19-year-old teenage sensation, who guided Armed Forces to a top flight Gambian league success few years ago, is currently out of the country determined to sign a professional contract.

Pointsport understands that Sama will be working with Mr James Hardy of JH Football Consulting Company who represents players such as ex Chelsea Striker Mateja Kezman and Swansea City Defender Vangelis Moras and he is reported to have been so excited to be representing the Gambian teenager.

Hardy who spoke to this reporter in an interview yesterday  said” I was referred to Buba Sama by my West African scout who is a close friend of the Captain of the Gambia Armed Forces FC.”

He added, “Now we are officially representing him with the Agency, we are actively marketing him in Europe and have received positive feedback.

“We hope to get official invitation for Buba in the next week or two.

“Buba is a top player and now we are in the process of organizing trials for him with top league clubs in Europe to look at him.”

“Buba Sama was a key member of the Gambia’s U17 and U20 National teams and he is the only local based player from Armed Force that is offered a deal with us thus far.”

Buba was the youngest player ever to be awarded the Golden Boot following his firing moment with the Military squad Armed Force scoring 12 goals league goals in the season of 2009.

“At the moment we are awaiting official invitations from European clubs, to invite Buba for trials in the next month.

He is keeping fit, and wants to do proud for all the entire Gambian people, added Hardy.
