Gambian Athletes off To Mali

Twelve athletes led by Dodou Joof (Cappie), Secretary General of the Gambia Athletics Association (GAA ) will leave Banjul today for  Mali Bamako via Senegal, to attend the Zone Two cadet athletics championship tobe hosted by Mali.

The championship will take place from 13th-14th May 2009.

The Gambian athletic contingent comprise Abdoulie Assim, Ousman Gibba, Lamin Camara, Modou Lamin Kujabi, Omar Jammeh, Kemo S.M. Colley, Amadou Bah, Omar Ceesay, Sohna Saho, Khaddy D. Touray, Mama Gibba, and Fatim Sowe .

The coaches accompanying the team are head coach Dodou Joof, Sulayman Jobe and Mam Keway Ceesay.
