The
Gambia National women team has ended training ahead of the West Africa Football
Union (WAFU) zone A women football Championship in Sierra Leone.
The
Queen Scorpions under the guidance of Mariama Boom Sowe and her chargers were
busy training at the National Technical
Training Centre (NTTC) in Yundum to prepare themselves for the much awaited
tournament.
The
tournament will run from 25 February to 7 March 2020. Gambia will open their
West African Football tournament against their counterparts Mali on Tuesday 26
February in Makeni town stadium at 2pm, before playing their second group match
against their neighbors Guinea Bissau on Friday 28 February at 4:30pm.
